These partnerships provide both financial and technical support, enabling us to amplify our impact and address key challenges within our communities.

Oxfam International
Our longest-standing partner, Oxfam International, has been an integral part of DENIVA’s journey for over 14 years. Through Oxfam’s financial and technical support, we have evolved from our early days in the 1990s to become a leading network for indigenous voluntary associations. Oxfam's assistance has been instrumental in establishing advocacy programs, strategic planning, and capacity building initiatives for our 804 member organizations.

USAID / East-West Management Institute (EWMI)
Through the Uganda Civil Society Strengthening Activity (CSSA), funded by USAID and implemented by EWMI, DENIVA works alongside other partners like the International Center for Nonprofit Law (ICNL) to support Ugandan civil society organizations. This initiative focuses on strengthening governance, improving health outcomes, and enhancing food security and education in Uganda. The five-year project aims to bolster the capacity of local organizations to drive positive social change.

Local and International Networks
DENIVA collaborates with numerous Ugandan NGOs and community-based organizations, ensuring that the voices of grassroots civil society actors are heard in national and international policy debates. By leveraging these partnerships, we ensure that resources and opportunities are shared with our network, enhancing the collective impact of voluntary associations in Uganda.
