 Membership Harvests/Success stories
Success Stories:

DENIVA (Development Network of Indigenous Voluntary Associations) has a long-standing history of supporting grassroots organizations in Uganda, helping them enhance governance, accountability, and social justice. One of the most notable success stories is its partnership with Oxfam International. Over 25 years, DENIVA has evolved into a robust network of over 800 NGOs and CBOs, driving change in public service delivery and climate change advocacy. This partnership has enabled members to develop their capacities for both short-term projects and long-term institutional growth.

Member Harvests:

DENIVA's members have benefited greatly from various initiatives aimed at promoting self-sustainability. For example, cooperatives supported by DENIVA have enabled local farming communities to thrive. Stories like Joyce from Katine, who transformed her life through farming and cooperative savings, are a testament to this. With the support of her cooperative, Joyce was able to access loans, grow surplus crops, and build a better home for her family, ultimately securing a better future for her children. This narrative illustrates how members are reaping the benefits of DENIVA's advocacy for community empowerment and resource mobilization.
